Compromise is an agreement that does not truly satisfy us.
Compromise is encouraged by the idea that we are in competition with one another. It provides satisfaction through the belief that another person has had to sacrifice what they want for us.
Compromise is only necessary for those who cannot feel. Freeing ourselves from compromise is simple, but not easy. We can achieve this through the focused and consistent practice of feeling the sensations and emotions that are ever-present within our bodies.
Through feeling, we naturally align what we want with what is best for one another. When this occurs, compromise becomes redundant as our feelings lead us into truly mutually beneficial and authentic relationships.
