As much as we criticise, is as much as we are unable to embrace authenticity.
Criticism is the abrasive expression of invalidation. It causes friction within our relationships and evokes fragmentation within human beings, particularly within those who express it.
It can be very difficult for our minds to stop invalidating after so many years of practice. However, we can release the need to criticise by choosing to bring gentleness to our relationships. Gentleness changes the quality of our invalidation from abrasive to subtle. In this minor shift ‘criticism’, as we know it, can be set free.
Letting go of criticism allows us to see, feel and embrace the beauty that is before us right now. As we openly embrace beauty, we will uncover the authentic human experience available within ourselves and those who we love.
